What I mean is, I would love to simply sign up through the app and pay for it monthly but not dramatically effect the way that PBS is able to sustain. All I know is that as of today, accessing additional content can be cumbersome and confusing and because there is no way to upgrade through the app nor manage your account you can end up with multiple accounts or funding going to the wrong networks.

I ended up sending donations to the network out of Pennsylvanian rather than my local network and then had to reach out to them to directly to cancel my donations. Also, please take advantage of being able to migrate existing accounts to Login with Apple.

I love the app. I find access to PBS Passport an added bonus. I think that without the donation you might be able to watch current episodes of shows for free but I am not sure. Since I have access to Passport, I can watch everything. You can download the free app and see if you can watch current episodes without paying extra for Passport, which gives you access to much more programming.

One really nice feature with Passport is that for many new shows, when the first episode runs on your local PBS station, you can watch the entire season at once through Passport on the app. I liked the app, and it is nice to watch the shows on demand rather than on the station schedule. Maybe they should have campaigns to unlock free content for everyone — like a kickstarter. I think there may be a lot of creative ways instead of following the same big tech and for profit models and we need public interest media to rethink this.

Today is one of those days where the "wheel of death" just keeps spinning around and around and around with no loading of any kind.

Other times when it doesn't work, it's more of a connection problem for casting to the TV. Most of the time if I have the app on the background of my phone, casting to the TV, while I do other things like make phone calls etc, if I open the app again it completely refreshes and causes disconnection with what was already play on the TV it'll start the episode over again or go to live TV or even the wheel of death comes on the TV because it's getting mixed signals.

My youngest daughters Priscilla and Ammonia have begged me for this app since forever and they really enjoy playing on this app. I got all episodes unlocked for them. They enjoy watching episodes of their favorite shows and sometimes I even watch along with them.

PBS kids helps me get the stuff I need to get done well they watch tv on their tablets. This app is very educational and will help my girls in the future! This app is going to help my children learn and grow throughout the future. They can learn social skills and more skills that will be successful for them. You can watch shows anytime and anywhere.

PBS is like my childhood donation! I have many memories of this! I still have the app so I can interact with my daughters and teach them more so they can get ready for the school year!

We are a PBS home for sure, we love almost all of the shows for kids that are offered. All but one. I have no doubt that a certain character has popped into the heads of other parents watching this before I even name him. The one thing I wish this app could do is give me the option to remove Caillou from the lineup.

Not only do I loathe that little monster from the depths of my being, it turns my three year old into a whining monster as well. We will be having a good day and when things turn, you can be sure to hear her singing "I'm Caillou, Caillou". I would pay good money for the option to obliterate Caillou while keeping the other shoes we know and love that don't affect my child's behavior in such a negative way.
