Where to download fitbit app for windows 10

I'm having the same issue trying to set up my Dad's fitbit. Go to Windows App Store, Click to download, Select account then all I get is a grey box which stays on screen for around 30 seconds before disappearing and kicking me back to the store with no download occuring. Is there anyway to get this app without going anywhere near the hideous Windows App store because if there isn't I don't see how he can set it up, let alone use it.
